Poor Boys
As the legend goes, in 1920’s New Orleans, two brothers gave free food to striking tram workers, serving meat & seafood scraps on French bread. The striking tram workers became know as Poor Boys or Po’Boys, with the iconic sandwiches served to them adopting the same name.
A hundred years later, Poor Boys was founded, again by two brothers, who were inspired by the history and culture behind the birth of the Po’Boy sandwich and aim to bring a small piece of what makes New Orleans so special to the London food scene.
Poor Boys New Orleans-inspired restaurant is a celebration of quality, bold flavours and Southern hospitality.
The key principles they follow throughout their food offering are flavour, quality and generosity. Each dish is crafted with attention to detail and prepared using cooking techniques to bring out the best in every flavour.
In true Southern fashion, Poor Boys believe in serving up big flavours with even bigger portions. Our plates are designed to be shared and savoured, reflecting the warm and welcoming spirit of New Orleans.
